Expanding loo rental firm leases Acacia Ridge yard space for $140,000pa.

Viking Rentals has signed a 5+5 year lease for 6,268m2 of yard space at 56 Murdoch Circuit, Acacia Ridge, and is paying $140,000 pa, a cost that will rise to $180,000 pa after 3 years.The transaction was handled by King & Co’s Ben Donnelly, while the lessor is undisclosed.

This property is fully fenced and features concreted hardstand, lights, underground fuel tanks of approximately 57,000 litres as well as a garden shed with awning.

Its new tenant rents out portable loos for events, festivals and construction sites and has recently expand into temporary fencing and power poles. Company owner Jim Noort says his firm was forced relocate when we outgrew a smaller Underwood site after buying out a larger competitor, adding that our business has grown by 10 times since moving into a 500m2 Wacol property in 2005, a deal that was also handled by Ben

According to Donnelly, Viking was lucky to find such a large area of concreted hardstand, and one that will allow for future growth
