Locally owned TNS Warehouse and Logistics P/L has taken a  3 + 3 year lease on a property at 43 Export Street, Lytton, and will be paying  rent  to an undisclosed NSW investor. King & Co’s Daryl Sluggett handled the transaction and says properties of this quality, location and size are receiving between $220,000 pa and $240,000 pa in rent.

This building consists of a 1,971m2 freestanding office/warehouse constructed of metal clad to the highest standard, with the warehouse providing 6m to 8m in height, excellent access through four container height roller doors and a 5 t crane. Its 169m2 office is spit over two levels.

The new tenant has operated TNS for  approximately 4 years but  worked in the logistics industry for over 20, all of them specialising in export and import trucking to and from the wharf, and the primary reason they chose to locate to Lytton and its proximity to the Port of Brisbane. Before moving into their new site they operated out of  smaller and less well exposed quarters up the road.

According to the co-owner, Sharon Norton, we operate Australia wide and what we can’t do in house, we rely on contacts adding that the company’s early years saw us operate with only one truck but now we have 8 of our own and employ two full time contractors.
