Victoria based National Tiles Co P/L has leased an industrial property at 3503 Pacific Highway, in the popular southside industrial suburb of Slacks Creek  on terms of 5+5+5+5 years. King & Co agent David Knox handled the transaction, while the lessor is undisclosed

This freestanding site comprises 708m2 of showroom as well as 708m2 of warehouse accessed via a roller door at the rear. Construction is of concrete block and tilt panel. Of particular note, and one of its main attractions, is the approximately 3,000m2 of concrete/bitumen yard area, which can be used as a car park or for storage.

The new tenant is presently fitting the building out as one of its Super Stores, and, according to Knox, chose this location because of its high visibility, proximity to similar businesses and  nearness to a warehouse it will  continue to maintain in Acacia Ridge.Ó He added that rates for similar properties were between $120/m2 and $130/m2.

National Tiles was established in 1979 by Managing Director Frank Walker and has rapidly become a market leader in the tile, stone and laminate timber flooring industries.

The National Tiles network incorporates 14 state of the art showrooms in Queensland and Victoria, each offering a design centre fully equipped to handle all aspects of today’s tiling needs.

National Tiles clientele includes commercial, retail, domestic builders and the tile trade. It has the buying power and the national distribution capabilities to ensure accurate and timely delivery for every client. They import over 2,000 containers yearly and hold in excess of $14million in stock
