An expanding NSW based Nash Logistics P/L has relocated its Brisbane operations from a 700m2 space in Oxley to a 2,795m2 office/warehouse with yard at B/57Ashover Road, Rocklea, and will be paying $267,030 pa in rent on a term of 3+3 years…or, according to its owner, Sandy Nash, we moved from a pigsty to a palace.

King & Co’s Daryl Sluggett handled the transaction, while the lessor is undisclosed.

This building is situated along popular Ashover Road and close to Ipswich Road as well as other major arterials. Features comprise roller door access, 7m roof height and a good sized concrete yard

The new tenant has been handling daily freight to its depot/main office in Moree, NSW, and surrounding areas for over forty years, including facilities in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Goondiwindi and Narrabri. It should be noted that each of these offers storage and equipment hire

Slugget says Rocklea’s  leasing market has been quite exciting, even seeing the take up of spaces that have sat for quite a while… a movement helped along by an easing of rates and landlord incentives. Transactions have largely been for industrial units on Collinsvale Street and Donaldson Road. Even the Woolstore is full, which has never happened before. Stock still on the market is in sizes from 200m2 to 14,000m2, particularly along Randolph Street, and are  subject to incentives for longer lease terms
