Melbourne based Plascorp P/L is entering the Queensland market by committing $138.000 pa for a freestanding 1,000m2 building at the rear of 935 Kingsford Smith Drive, Eagle Farm, on terms of 2+3 years. King & Co handled the transaction while the lessor is undisclosed

The new tenant was particularly attracted by the property’s  large warehouse/workshop area, with its 12m roof height, two cranes (1×5 tonne & 1×10 tonne), 3 phase power, a large, easily accessed concrete yard for storage and truck turning, an office as well as a central location near major arterials

Plascorp has been manufacturing flexible ducting, underground mine ventilation ducting and themosplastics composite hose and upvc pipe for over 30 years. It also distributes a wide range of steel and building products, all of which are available through an extensive distribution network developed over the last decade. Aside from its Melbourne plant, there is an 8,000m2 distribution centre in Perth, followed by the recent opening of the one in Eagle Farm, which is being used as a major facility for import and distribution, especially in relation to this State’ s  bourgeoning mining sector
