In order to create room for a parts division, Southern Cross Industries  has relocated to a larger site at 14 Musgrave Road, Coopers Plains, and will be paying $65,000 pa in rent on 3+3 year terms. King & Co’s Ben Donnelly handled the transaction, while the lessor is undisclosed

This property contains a 667m2 masonry office/warehouse, the latter featuring clearspan construction, insulation and access via 2 container height roller doors

The new tenant, previously operating out of a small office elsewhere in Coopers Plains, has become the Queensland parts and sales outlet for a firm that manufacturers truck trailers in South Australia and Victoria. It has been in business for 35 year, 8 of them in Brisbane

Donnelly says “the company sees this move as a stop gap measure and intends to buy land to build space large enough to incorporate a repair division, probably in the next 2-3 years.”
