Victoria based Steamatic, “a world leader” in domestic and commercial cleaning and restoration since 1968 has leased a 1,693m2 freestander at 64 Buchanan Road, Banyo, on a term of 2+2 years. While the price and lessor are undisclosed, David Knox, who handled the transaction, says similar, nearby properties have been achieving $100/m2 to $105/m2.

This space provides a  clearspan warehouse with good internal height and access via a container height roller door plus one loading dock. It’s currently fitted out with three offices and a boardroom, however the incoming tenant intends to spend a considerable amount of money refurbishing to their requirements

Offering 24/7 service, the new tenant can provide steam cleaning, dry carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, curtain cleaning, rug cleaning, mould removal, odour removal, water damage, fire damage, insurance claims, disaster planning and disaster recovery.

Steamatic owns and operates its outlets in the capital cities and franchises otherwise. The Brisbane opening is part of an expansion decision.
