ACT based Pushys Bike Gear has paid $1,325,000 for a 2,230m2 building at 4 & 6/246 Evans Road, Salisbury. It’s relocating from a smaller space it had bought then onsold in the same neighbourhood. While the ACT operation includes store front sales, this site will only supply the firm’s online mail order needs. Meanwhile, one half the building is available for lease at market rates.

King & Co’s Rod Hewitt handled the transaction, while the vendor is undisclosed.

Of steel framed metal clad construction, it comprises 128m2 of mezzanine office, 25m2 of mezzanine storage and a 1,949m2 warehouse with an internal roof height of 5.2m, three 5m high roller doors, one 3.6m plus loading dock.

In business for just one year, Pushys has become Australia’s leading online bike retailer, selling top brand road, mountain and BMX bikes, scooters and accessories.

According to Hewitt, “spaces of this size in Salisbury are very difficult to find, especially for such a competitive price, though King & Co has on offer an 1,850m2 office/warehouse of comparative quality at 18 Raynham Street.”
