NSW based freight forwarder Cargo and Logistics Management (CALM) has taken a 2 year lease plus options on 1,179m2 of space at 2/64 Meakin Road, in popular Meadowbrook, and will be paying between $100/m2 and $110/m2 pa. This is the second site the 30 year old firm has taken up in the area and is part of an expansion decision. Both transactions were carried out by King & Co agent Pat Kerruish, while the lessors are of each undisclosed.

These warehouses were established as a hub to assist in servicing clients in Northern Australia and link the network to its other facilities. The the last site to be rented features a relatively new tilt slab office/warehouse in a complex of three, and includes roller door access, insulated roofing, open floor space and is fully secured with alarms as well as a electric fence.

With its location near major arterials and physical setup the new tenant is able to co-ordinate clients needing interstate transport, local cartage, customs clearance, container packs/unpacks and special projects
