Eastern Food Alliance opens warehouse in Rocklea

by admin | 10th March 2014

Eastern Food Alliance (EFA), a nationally registered Charity with DGR status has leased 4 Leeds Street, Rocklea for on a two year term with options.

The 695m2 property consists of a steel frame block construction 535m2 warehouse with excellent natural lighting and electric roller door access.

The natural breezes keep the warehouse floor cooler and the natural light saves power.

There is also 160m2 partitioned and air conditioned offices over two levels, perfect for EFA’s training programmes that employ 50 Disability Services clients, two JSA networks running work-for-the-dole, as well as running School-Based-Traineeships (SATs) for close to a dozen Brisbane schools and over 70 students.

The not-for-profit organisation works with SecondBite – a food rescue charity that collects and redistributes fresh and nutritious food to people in need to over 60 agencies across the South-East.

Sam Harper handled the deal and can be contacted on 0423 380 514.
