NEW JEWELS IN THE KING & CO CROWN

After 30 years leading the way in Brisbane’s industrial real estate market King & Co Property Consultants are set to continue their reign well into the future with the appointment of industry specialists Mark Scammells and Peter Roberts.

Recognised as two of the best and brightest in the business, Mark Scammells has been crowned Group Property Director, with Peter Roberts anointed Director Property Management & Professional Services, joining forces with Paul McAvoy Managing Director and Operations Manager, David Chitham.

Scammells, who held the position of Development Manager at Metroplex on Westgate prior to joining King & Co, comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industrial property market, with his efforts instrumental in securing Volvo, Loscam and other big names at Westgate. Previous achievements include some 60 developments over the past 18 years for companies such as CUB, ACI, Wridgeways and Kimberley Clark, to name a few.

Roberts joins King & Co from Land Mark White, with a clear brief to focus on the growing industrial property market throughout South East Queensland, a task he’s well equipped for having been involved in valuations and consultancy advice on all forms of major industrial acquisitions, including the Brisbane Markets, Wacol Army Barracks and TradeCoast Central. As part of Roberts’s role, he will head up the Property Management Division at King & Co, with a management portfolio of industrial properties valued at over a billon dollars. Roberts brings to the property management team and its clients invaluable services and expertise that will enable them to stay a step ahead of the industrial market at all times.

McAvoy went on to say, “These are exciting times for King & Co and the future looks even better. We’re well placed in the industrial market, offering over 200 years of combined experience, with a reputation for ‘doing the deal’ that underpins our commitment of ‘we get results’. King & Co is set for a golden era that will see the company forge itself in the coming years and well into the next decade as the market leader within the Brisbane’s industrial property sector.”
